Full Day/Full Week
Campers will form a pop-up band, choose their instruments, and learn a modern song of their choosing together! During our daily art blocks campers will tap into their inner rockstars by naming their group, designing a logo, and creating concert posters to "advertise" their gig for the big Friday Showcase.

Full Day/Full Week
Step behind the scenes! Campers will learn how to build original songs using digital resources, diving into music mixing, production, and live turntablist DJing from a local professional DJ. During our daily art blocks, they will develop their own artist persona by designing custom DJ logos and album cover art. For the Friday Showcase, parents are invited to an exclusive "Listening Party" where campers will drop their custom tracks and show off their new mixing skills!
All ages welcome but older students may benefit more!

Every day is a new decade! Campers will travel through time to learn the instruments, music, and dance crazes from the 1940s through the early 2000s. During our daily art blocks, they will create era-specific crafts. For our Friday Showcase, campers will take the audience on a time-travel tour, demonstrating a mashup of their favorite songs and dances from the various decades

Campers will step into the spotlight to learn voal projection, character acting, and ensemble choreography. They will get hands-on with the production side of musical theater during their daily art blocks by designing their own playbills, props and set pieces, all leading up to a show-stopping Friday performance for family and friends.

Looking for the perfect summer solution that is both enriching and incredibly fun? Ashe School of Music is thrilled to announce our Summer 2026 Full-Day Camps!
Our camps are for ALL children whether you are currently taking lessons or not. Camps are for ages 6-12. We have week-long themes that run Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. We mix high-focus music learning with outdoor time, creative art applications, low to no screen-time (except for sound lab which is done on computer software) so your child stays engaged all day without burning out.
