Parent FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What ages is this class for?
This class is designed specifically for children ages 3–4. The activities, pacing, and structure are tailored to this age group.
Does my child need any prior music experience?
No experience is needed! This class is designed for beginners and focuses on exploration, movement, and musical play.
Do caregivers stay for the class?
Yes. Caregivers remain for the entire class. You may participate alongside your child or observe quietly — whatever helps your child feel most comfortable.
What if my child is shy or hesitant?
That’s completely okay. Children are encouraged to participate at their own pace. The predictable routine and caregiver presence help many children warm up over time.
What happens during a typical class?
Classes include a welcome song, movement activities, singing, simple instrument exploration, and a closing routine. Each class follows a similar structure so children know what to expect.
What should my child bring?
Just themselves and a willingness to explore! Instruments and materials are provided.
What if we miss a class?
Because this is a small-group session-based program, there are no makeups, but we understand that life with young children can be unpredictable. 6 classes are included in tuition regardless of how many you attend.
Is this class offered in Spanish?
The instructor is bilingual, and Spanish-speaking families are welcome. Support and communication can be provided in both English and Spanish as needed.
How many children are in each class?
Enrollment is intentionally limited to keep the class calm, engaging, and age-appropriate. There will be no more than 10 students in a class at this time.
